All K-12 science educators and the instructional coaches and administrators who support them are invited to engage in statewide professional learning centered on instructional strategies outlined in Ambitious Science Teaching. The focus of this course will be on chapters 7-14 and the appendices. If you weren’t able to join us in the fall for AST, Part 1, don’t worry. You will find the content of this course engaging and applicable to your classroom.
OpenSciEd Middle School Released Units
Are you curious what an NGSS-design badge unit looks like and how to make the three dimensions of the Next Generation Science Standards come alive in your middle school classroom? Then join us for one (or more) of the unit-specific courses AEA Science Consultants are facilitating beginning in January. Even if you aren’t planning to implement the unit, you will find the instructional strategies and routines applicable to your NGSS-aligned classroom.
